About Me
I just recently found out im allergic to Bee's! How random, I had no idea you could develop an allergy at this age! Growing up in Boston, I was stung once; I thought the bee was a mosquito, it wasn't. Then later when I moved to Chicago I got stung again while riding my bike, yeah that sucked. It wasn't until I was in LA and a honeybee got me, that my arm blew up! So now I have an epi-pen, which is fine but they don't fit in tiny purses. There's a lot more about me, but come see me perform to find out!
Training
I grew up taking acting, dance, and singing lessons. Although I my dance skills did not flourish, I do still enjoy a shimmy and a shake. However, I did continue my theater and singing training throughout High School, and also attended Boston Arts Academy where I received my HS Diploma with a focus in film and acting. Later I received my BFA in acting from Chicago College of the Performing Arts at Roosevelt University. I studied improv at iO (Improv Olympics) where I also took various television writing classes, and at Second City. While in Chicago I performed with an improv group ‘Teddy’s Friends’ at Second City, iO, The Annoyance, and various other Chicago comedy theaters. I also spent many years working with Playground Social (a Chicago Comedy Collective) on live performances as well as filmed sketches.
Born to Perform
I am a member of Chonk, a house improv team at The Pack Theater (LA), come see us perform every 2nd and 4th Sunday! When I'm not performing improv, you can find me doing Stand Up around the city. If you don't see me on a stage, I'm probably writing. Currently editing my pilot 'Annie Stone' a children's sitcom about a teenage girl who has a passion for Robots and a group of quirky eclectic friends and family. I also am working on ‘Restaurant: The Musical’ my self written musical about, you guessed it: Restaurants! I also have a passion for performance art, on my youtube you can check out ‘Juul’s final goodbye’: a self written and directed piece that explores the toxic relationship between humans and their vapes.
